Audition requirements are current and listed below.
Admission decisions and scholarship awards are made by March 1 for the Piano Program. We will start to release audition results throughout the month of February, and every applicant will be contacted with their admission results through the email address on their application by March 1. In collaboration with peer festivals, we are participating in an Admit Reply deadline of Tuesday, March 9 at 7 p.m. Eastern. Those accepted will have until this deadline to commit to a festival. After this deadline passes, alternates will be notified of their acceptance and will have an enrollment deadline of Thursday, March 11 at 7 p.m. Eastern.
Audition Requirements
Solo or piano concerto repertoire only; application must include at least one significant solo work. Recordings should be of unedited, live performances.
Selections should total at least 30 minutes, include at least two different works, and represent both a range of musical styles and the applicant’s technical level.
For ease of uploading, and to keep application costs down, we require uploading your videos to YouTube and using those links in your application. The full link from your address bar should be used. SlideRoom (application platform) will not accept shortened Share links (starting with youtu.be), YouTube Playlists, or YouTube Shorts.
